Overfeeding the shredder can cause damage to the shredder teeth or burning out the motor.
Paper draws moisture out of it's surroundings, therfore, the shredder's teeth should be lubricated regularly to keep the machine operating smoothly.
In the event of your shredder's motor overheating, turn it off for at least 15 minutes, allowing the motor to cool down before using the shredder again.
