Reviews

  • Most MFPs are designed for scanning documents and so are best to avoid if you're looking for photo scanning. The few exceptions can be recognized if they feature scanning options that are clearly meant for photos, such as a color restore feature.

  • Bear in mind that in order to get the best quality, you should scan the original negative rather than the printed photo, if it's available.

  • Sheet fed scanners decide all the settings for you so all you have to do is feed your photos through the slot.
