The Plustek PS288 Scanner has a 50 page Automatic Document feeder and also a 1500 page per day duty cycle which tells you this scanner is able to handle heavy regular use. The Plustek PS-288 can also manage rigid card scanning such as ID cards and drivers licenses which are up to 1.2mm thick. The SmartOffice PS288 can also scan business documents up to 50 inches long.

Reviews

You should not look for a scanner on the basis of price alone, especially if you are doing important work and image quality is important to you.
Almost anything that speeds up scanning photos (other than buying a faster scanner) lowers the scan quality, so decide the level of quality you want, and then accept the amount of work that comes with it.
If your scanner doesn't provide a good quality dust removal feature, removing the dust from your photos with canned air before scanning will take less time than manually removing dust marks with a photo editing program afterwards.
