Most data projectors have a ‘Still’ or ‘Freeze’ button which is very useful because it allows you to freeze the projected display while you are still free to use the regular display on your monitor screen.
Many remotes on LCD projectors can be used to program where the signal is received to turn on/off or access the menu on the projector.
Some older model projectors may have a main on/off switch in addition to a projector lamp on/off switch. For these models, first turn the projector lamp off and only once it powers down, turn the projector off.
