It also scans ID cards, passports, and media up to 8.5" x 120". In addition, the Epson DS C330 Desktop Scanner has Intelligent imaging technology such as automatic cropping, blank page deletion, background removal, dirt detection, paper skew correction and staple protection.

Reviews

A scanner may cost more due to a better light. The light may last longer or keep color balance better as it warms up during a session or over the life of the scanner.
Most MFPs are designed for scanning documents and so are best to avoid if you're looking for photo scanning. The few exceptions can be recognized if they feature scanning options that are clearly meant for photos, such as a color restore feature.
Use the gray scale or line art option when you scan black and white images.
