It is fitted with a Sub Ink Tank System which means that all the ink in the tank to be used before having to replace it, thereby eliminating waste and the empty tanks can be replaced without stopping the printer. Make sure to keep your printer up to date by downloading drivers and patches from the manufacturer's site. Most manufacturers provide driver updates for their units which include patches that add fonts or fix incompatibilities.
Out of a color cartridge? Many printer drivers include an option to print using black only, or equivalent options to override the refusal to print.
Your ink is not going onto the paper properly or you notice uneven coverage? Try aligning the print heads before you bring out the big guns.
