Most data projectors have a ‘Still’ or ‘Freeze’ button which is very useful because it allows you to freeze the projected display while you are still free to use the regular display on your monitor screen.
If your projector is network enabled, you can manage the settings, such as checking lamp life, from a central location.
Be careful not to shake, or move your projector intensely, especially when it is on. Projectors are sensitive to these types of movements and may get damaged.
