If your shredder jams, and the forward and reverse buttons are not moving the
paper, unplug your shredder and contact a qualified person to help.
Disintegrator shredders provide the highest level of security since the paper is reduced to tiny pieces or even powder, but they are very expensive for home use and are not usually necessary for household security.
For better performance, feed the paper smoothly into the shredder rather than forcing it in.
