The Fujitsu fi-6670 professional scanner comes bundled with valuable scanning software, including full versions of Adobe Acrobat Standard, ScandAll PRO with Microsoft SharePoint connectivity as well as VRS 4.2 Professional image and productivity enhancement. In addition, the included TWAIN and ISIS drivers and flexibility of many interface options (SCSI/USB 2.0 or VRS CGA) contributes to decreased deployment costs and improved interoperability with complimentary hardware and third party software solutions.

When looking at a scanners specifications, bear in mind that you can use a scanner at a lower resolution, but you cannot go higher.
Almost anything that speeds up scanning photos (other than buying a faster scanner) lowers the scan quality, so decide the level of quality you want, and then accept the amount of work that comes with it.
If you're in a rush or don't know much about scanning, the auto mode should provide reasonably good quality and may be all you need.
