After carefully packing your core return, place the pre addressed return label on the outside of the box. The RMA number also must be clearly visible on the outside of the box. Media settings on your printer determine how much ink will be used. Thinly coated glossy films require less ink, while plain paper soaks in more.
If your print settings are too dark, it could be detrimental to the life of the cartridge in the long run. It’s important that the density control of the machine be properly set to prevent the machine from pulling too much toner into itself.
Are you getting diminished color and print quality? If all your images start to look a bit purple, blue or orange, one of your ink wells may be running low. Replace the whole printer ink cartridge, unless you can refill the individual ink wells.
