The Panasonic KV-S4085CL scans 80 A4 sheets per minute up to 300 dpi resolution, in simplex or duplex, in monochrome, grayscale or color. Optical resolution is 600 dpi and the hopper capacity is 240 sheets (80 g/sqm). Intelligent paper feeding constantly checking and adjusting the roller pressure combined with innovative staple detection and ultrasonic double feed detection with 3 detectors ensures maximum throughput of mixed documents. For thicker and more rigid documents a straight paper path can be selected. Image controls include Automatic De-skewing, Automatic Crop, Automatic Binary/ Color Distinction, Blank Page Removal, Multi Color Dropout, Smooth Background, Hole Removal, and more. Other useful functions are Barcode detection (ISIS), Patch code detection, Automatic separation, Long paper mode, and more.
