Quick Tips
- So you have just installed a new printer ink cartridge but your documents are coming out blank?! Make sure you have completely removed the little sticker from the ink cartridge before installing it. If it is removed, run the clean print head function on your printer to make sure all air bubbles are removed. Whatever you do, do not remove the cartridge once it hass been installed!
- Out of a color cartridge? Many, (but, unfortunately, not all) printer drivers include an option to print using black only, or equivalent options to override the refusal to print
- It is always better to use original ink cartridges to reduce chances of clogging, leaking and bleeding
- After installing a printer it’s a good idea to go to the Windows dialog box and check the settings, so you won't be surprised by what happens (or doesn't happen!) the first time you give a print command!
