If your projector is left in a car when it's 40 degrees or below, it is possible the projector lamp will explode if you turn the projector on immediately. Allow your projector to warm up to room temperature before turning it on in order to avoid the dangerous scenario of the lamp exploding.
Clean the filter of your projector on a regular basis or the air-flow will be reduced causing a build up of heat. Heat is your projector bulb's enemy.
The 'throw' tells you how far the projector needs to be from the image surface.
