If you are looking for a shredder for a home office or business you may want to purchase a larger model that can handle the higher volume generated from invoices and client information.
A strip-cut shredder cuts the paper into strips between one-eighth and one-half inch thick; the smaller the strips, the more difficult it is to reassemble the document.
Feeding in more paper than the recommended capacity can cause jamming and damage to the shredder. Keep this in mind when shredding folded papers or heavier paper types such as cardstock or file folders.
